Principal’s Update – 25th November 2022
Dear Families, I hope this update finds you in the best of health. Another action packed week has flown by here at the Academy with a host of visitors again coming to work with our young people and sample what it is that makes our school so unique and positive. Next week is a slightly shorter week but there are a number of events that I will update you about below.

Principal’s Update – 18th November 2022
Dear Families, I hope this update finds you all in the best of health. We have had a typically busy week at the academy this week with a number of celebratory highlights. There was a lot of attention and debate around the cricket world cup at the start of the week with students attention now turning towards the football world cup which starts this weekend. We have had a number of visitors to the school and have seen the return of our rewards assemblies and lunches for the first time since the pandemic. I have more detail for you below.

Principal’s Update – 11th November 2022
Dear Families, I hope this week’s update finds you and those closest to you in good health. Today we observed a 2 minutes silence as part of our remembrance day activities. Whilst this always feels a very solemn activity it gives time for our community to pause, reflect and acknowledge those who have given the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our way of life and our freedom. Students have been taking part in assemblies over the last fortnight to help them understand the meaning behind Remembrance Day whilst our Art and Design teams have helped students create art installations inspired by the poppy across the school.
