Dear Families I hope this email finds you and your family in the best of health, looking forwards to an extended weekend or a half term break. I write to you as Summer Term 1 comes to and end on the back of another eventful week at the academy. To name but a few, we have seen the exam season continue with both Year 11 and 13 in full flow this week, its been our Spencer Superstars week with lunchtime activities showcasing the talents of our students and we’ve said farewell to our Year 13 students today. Principal’s Update – 19th May 2023

Dear Families I hope this update finds you and those closest to you in the best of health. We have seen the first big week of examinations come to a close today and there has been a real feeling of positivity amongst the Year 11s. It’s been lovely to see their transformation from being quite nervy and worried in the build up, to feeling confident and assured as they have left the exam hall. The general consensus has been that they have felt well prepared and that most of the questions on the big papers have not been a surprise. I know they won’t be taking anything for granted and you can feel that there is a renewed intensity and commitment in the revision and intervention sessions. I will continue to wish both Year 11 and 13 all the best over the next week too.

Dear Families, I hope this update find you and your family in the best of health. I write to you on the eve of the coronation of King Charles III after a typically eventful week at the academy. There are updates on this below and a reminder that school will remain closed on Monday 8th due to the coronation but we will reopen to all students as normal on Tuesday 9th May.

Dear Families, I hope this update finds you and those closest to you in the best of health. I write to you on the eve of the May Day bank holiday weekend with a reminder that school will be closed on Monday for the bank holiday and then again on Tuesday due to industrial action. There is a further bank holiday on Monday the 8th May for the King’s Coronation. Whilst this week has once again been a 4 day week for most students it has still been action packed with the usual employer visits, sports fixtures, competitions and so on d
