Drop Down Day

Students have learnt about a wealth of different topics that can have an impact on their lives currently and in the future. Year 7 gained an understanding of the risk of young people being exploited for Drug Trafficking and the value of Supportive Friends and a Positive Mindset; Year 8 students appreciated the skill involved in Wheelchair Basketball and Blind Football, the importance of keeping themselves and others safe on the roads and how to manage their Mental Health. Year 9 learned the importance of caring for each other in relationships and managing their Mental Health, Year 10 explored the possibilities of University and a range of training opportunities, with the help of visitors from several universities. Students benefited from expert presenters and impressed them with their engagement in each workshop.
