Today we have celebrated and wished our Year 13 students the very best for the next chapter in their lives after they received their Post 16 results this morning.
Principal, Scott Doyle said “Our Year 13 students have worked incredibly hard for the grades they have received today, having been assessed continuously throughout the last two years of their Post 16 studies. Whilst today has felt different to a typical results day we are pleased to say that almost all of our students have been successful in securing the grades they need to embark upon their chosen pathway.
We know that our students are well prepared with the necessary skills and attributes to make them successful in the next stage of their lives. Our links with employers and the experiences they have to develop their resilience, problem solving skills and creativity give them the foundations needed to be successful in higher education or in the world of work. We wish them all the very best of luck in whatever pathway they choose and we look forward to hearing about their future success.
A big thank you also goes out to all of our staff for their professionalism and dedication in securing, fair and robust grades for our young people throughout an incredibly challenging period in schools. Together, we succeed.”
Head of Sixth Form, Wendy Coley added, “The support students receive whilst studying with us continues to bear fruit and has helped our students achieve their potential. Students have followed a variety of pathways over the last two years, which has allowed them to access a range of excellent universities and apprenticeships. It’s great to see them thrive, be happy and move on to the next chapter in their lives.
We would also like to thank parents and staff for their unwavering support and commitment, without which we would not be celebrating this success.”
