Year 11 Results Day

Today, our Year 11 students at Derby Moor received their final GCSE and BTEC grades. This marks the end of their time in secondary education and the beginning of the next stage in their development as they move on to college, apprenticeships, training or, for most of our students, Sixth Form.

Principal, Scott Doyle said “We are so proud of the achievements of our young people. These results represent not only the academic ability of our students but also their agility and determination – to maintain focus and continue pushing themselves through what have been the most unpredictable of times, truly is a mark of their character.  They are now set up for the next stage in their education, with the attributes and experiences they need to be successful at whatever they put their minds to.

My gratitude goes out to all our students’ families and the dedicated team of staff for creating a culture of aspiration at the Academy where students strive to achieve each day. The positive relationships and togetherness of our Derby Moor Community has been the bedrock upon which our students have been able to thrive. Together We Succeed.

We look forward to welcoming most of our students back to Derby Moor Sixth Form in September and wish the very best of luck to those who are moving on to other destinations.”

Students who applied to our Sixth Form will receive an email confirming their place over the next two working days.
