Principal’s Update – 19th November 2021

Dear Families,

There will not be an update this week. Our whole community is saddened and shocked by the loss of one of our Sixth Form students in the early hours of Friday morning. Our thoughts are with her family and all who knew her in these most difficult of times. We ask you all to respect their family’s privacy at this challenging time and refrain from any speculation on social media.

All of our children have had special assemblies today informing them of the news, so please be ready to support them tonight and over the weekend.

As we all mourn, we are mindful that our students, staff and families will need support over the coming days, weeks and months. We will be providing additional support in school to help our community process this sad news and we will keep you updated.  If you have concerns about your child and how they are coming to terms with their grief, please do contact school and ask to speak to their Year Manager.
